Turning the turtle
Turning the Turtle
These commands do not change the position of the turtle, they change what direction the turtle is facing (orientation) and if the turtle is rotated or not. There are six commands words which change the direction of the turtle, which are followed by how many degrees you wish the turtle to turn in that direction.
For the Quick Command window these commands are the left and right green arrows, and the orange arrows with the blue arrows around them indicating which way the arrows will make the turtle turn. The angle in which the turtle turns is indicated and can be changed in the Angle (degree): line of the Quick Command window.
The command words are:
Left = LEFT (no.) or LT (no.)
Right = RIGHT (no.) or RT (no.)
The turtle's head moves up = ROLLUP (no.) or RU (no.)
The turtle's head moves down = ROLLDOWN (no.) or RD (no.)
The turtle's left side down and right side up = TILTLEFT (no.) or TL (no.)
The turtle's left side up and right side down = TILTRIGHT (no.) or TR (no.)
Where (no.) indicates the number of degrees you which the turtle to turn in that direction. Remember to leave a space between the command word and how many degrees you wish the turtle to turn.
