Here are links to prototypes

  • Prototype 1: has full rotation and translation movements.
    • next prototype should implement track on and off
       
  • Prototype 2: has the following major improvements:
    1. A tool bar containing essential 3D space controls such as navigation and viewpoint controls.
    2. The turtle can animate rotation and translation.
    3. Track on/off implemented.
    4. Quick Command implemented as a draggable window with graphics.
    5. A confirming dialog when leaving the application (for reminding saving the work).

This prototype 2 is basically enough for research with some learning activities. The next prototype hopefully can have file/blog functions.

  • Prototype 3:
    1. Add follow mode, navigation will be none in this mode (debatable).
    2. Add jet avatar.
    3. Command line key event.
    4. Disable message area
