All the blogs in VRMath2 are required to have at least one category under the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.

Traditionally, Engineering is a discipline in Tertiary Education. However, its importance has been recognised in the last decade or so, and is being included into the School Education system as a recent world-wide movement. The United States is one of the pioneers in this movement. Many states in the US have included Engineering into their curriculum frameworks. For example, Engineering can be seen in the Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering Curriculum Framework.

The classification system in VRMath2 at the moment, however, does not put together teachnology and engineering. When writing a blog in VRMath2 or simply from the Explore in the Menu bar, you will see that Technology and Engineering are separate and have their own sub-categories.

Technology has Control, Material and System, while Engineering has Animation, Design, Programming and Visualisation.

What do you think about this classification? Any suggestions?

Andy :-)
