Palm tree

This is a simple design and visualisation of a palm tree.  The palm leaves are borrowed from a previous blog. The new part is the tree trunk, which is an EXTRUSION object. Before the inclusion of EXTRUSION in VRMath2 Editor, tree stems or branches may be just cylinders. Using EXTRUSION, more irregular tree trunks can be achieved.

What do you imagine for Christmas? Although Christmas is in summer time in Australia, I can still picture a snowy scene of white Christmas. There are snowflakes falling down from the sky. The ground is white in daytime and gray in the night. Trees could be green if not covered by snow. There is a snowman sitting on the ground, and some Christmas music....

One of the powerful abilities of LOGO programming language is its recursive execution of procedure. Recursive call of procedure means a procedure calls itself until an exiting condition is met. A recursive procedure can be very simple yet it can produce complex and beautiful mathematical graphics such as fractal images and naturally occurring objects.
